Time to go back, Spent half day in Kolhapur 29 March 2024

Our Malvan trip ends here. We had breakfast and then headed to Kolhapur, and later Pune. Initially, we had a train scheduled for the night from Kolhapur to Pune, but it got cancelled. Therefore, we decided to stay in Kolhapur for a day. Since there were no buses available directly from Malvan to Kolhapur, we opted to go to Kankavli first, where we could find buses to Kolhapur. We arrived in Kolhapur in the afternoon, checked into the hotel, freshened up, ordered misal, which we thought would be spicy but turned out to be good, and then proceeded straight to the Mahalaxmi Mandir.
Due to it being Friday, there was a large crowd, and we ended up waiting in line for about 20-30 minutes. After having our darshan, we returned to the hotel as it was already 8pm. We had a light dinner at the hotel and then went to sleep, as our bodies needed to recharge after thoroughly enjoying our time in Malvan.

Finally, we are in Malvan 25 march 2024

Early in the morning, we reached Kolhapur around 5:30-5:45 am and went to the bus station, catching the first bus to Malvan at 6:30. The distance from the railway station to the bus station is only about 1.5 km, but the auto driver charged us 40 rupees because it was morning. Actually, the bus was scheduled for 6 am, but it got delayed reaching the Kolhapur bus station, so we had no choice but to wait. We arrived in Malvan around 11:30 am. We had pre-booked Hotel Aishwarya for 4 nights, which cost us only 7500 rupees, including breakfast. Since our check-in was at 12, we waited in the lobby, where they served us refreshments and a welcome drink, kokum sarbat. After checking in, the first thing we did was freshen up and get ready for lunch, as it was already 1 o'clock. Had very bad experience at Tien restaurant

Visited Tien yesterday, which is an Asian restaurant. The menu was good, with a lot of options to try from. After looking through the menu, we ordered crispy edamame rolls, a grilled three-cheese sandwich, spicy miso ramen (vegan), and coconut panna cotta. Unfortunately, the only thing we liked was the cheese inside the sandwich. However, the cheese was only mozzarella, even though they had mentioned three types of cheese. The ramen portion was very small considering the cost. The rolls we received were only two cut in the half. The dessert, the coconut panna cotta, was tasteless. There was literally no taste at all. All we did was waste our money. These 4 items cost us 1716rs. Not to be mean or rude, but its not worth the money. Try it at your own risk. I wouldn't recommend it. Going back home, 30 March 2024

We woke up around 8 as we had a bus to Pune around 9-10, but we couldn't take the AC buses due to my cough, which made me feel sad for Bubbles. We had complimentary breakfast at the hotel, which included options like bread with butter and jam, poha, khichadi, and tea/coffee. Since I had a cough, I didn't eat anything but had some hot water instead. After breakfast, we checked out and went to the bus stand, where we found many buses heading to Pune. We slept for most of the journey and reached Pune around 4pm. After reaching home, we didn't do much except sleep. Xoxo 💓 Gujjugirl
