Have you ever tried eating raw green mango this way? In Maharashtra, we call it "Kairi cha karmat/ Kairi ka Karmat."

When I was a child and used to visit Konkan during summer vacations, I would see kids in Konkan eating raw mangoes in a way I had never seen before. At first, I didn't understand what they were eating, but once I tried it, I fell in love with the food.

That's why I'm sharing the recipe with you to try. I'm sure you'll love it.

Try eating raw green mango this way, and you'll find yourself craving it again and again.

Ingredients: 

Raw Green Mango - 1 no.
Oil - 1Tbsp
Sugar - 1Tbsp
Salt - as per taste
Red chilly powder - 1Tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2Tbsp

Method:
  1. Chop the green mango and put it in a bowl.
  2. Add sugar, salt, turmeric powder and red chilly powder (according to your spiciness).
  3. And lastly add oil and mix well.
  4. Let it set aside for 2-3 mins, and its ready to eat.
