Have you ever tried eating raw green mango this way? In Maharashtra, we call it "Kairi cha karmat/ Kairi ka Karmat."
When I was a child and used to visit Konkan during summer vacations, I would see kids in Konkan eating raw mangoes in a way I had never seen before. At first, I didn't understand what they were eating, but once I tried it, I loved it.
That's why I'm sharing the recipe with you to try. I'm sure you'll love it.
Ingredients:
Raw Green Mango - 1 no.
Oil - 1Tbsp
Sugar - 1Tbsp
Salt - as per taste
Red chilly powder - 1Tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2Tbsp
Oil - 1Tbsp
Sugar - 1Tbsp
Salt - as per taste
Red chilly powder - 1Tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2Tbsp
Method:
- Chop the green mango and put it in a bowl.
- Add sugar, salt, turmeric powder and red chilly powder (according to your spiciness).
- And lastly add oil and mix well.
- Let it set aside for 2-3 mins, and its ready to eat.
Try eating raw green mango this way, and you'll find yourself craving it again and again.
