Finally, we are in Malvan 25 march 2024

Early in the morning, we reached Kolhapur around 5:30-5:45 am and went to the bus station, catching the first bus to Malvan at 6:30. The distance from the railway station to the bus station is only about 1.5 km, but the auto driver charged us 40 rupees because it was morning. Actually, the bus was scheduled for 6 am, but it got delayed reaching the Kolhapur bus station, so we had no choice but to wait. We arrived in Malvan around 11:30 am. We had pre-booked Hotel Aishwarya for 4 nights, which cost us only 7500 rupees, including breakfast. Since our check-in was at 12, we waited in the lobby, where they served us refreshments and a welcome drink, kokum sarbat. After checking in, the first thing we did was freshen up and get ready for lunch, as it was already 1 o'clock. We quickly rented a bike and headed to a nearby restaurant, Hotel Chaitanya, known for its seafood and also serving vegetarian thali. So, we ordered two Vegetarian thali's. However, the service was so slow that we cancelled one thali, yet we still waited for almost 30 minutes for our food. Perhaps the hotel was very crowded, which caused the delay. The food was good, and there was no lingering odor of seafood.

The thali included chapati, rice, curry, and another vegetable which I don't remember😅. This one thali cost us around 400 rupees. After leaving the restaurant, we went for a stroll and found another restaurant with a good view. So, we went to Saiba restaurant. We decided to eat something there as we were still hungry after the thali.  After lunch, we returned to our room and slept until 4 pm. Upon waking up, we went to Malvan beach, took lots of photos, and watched the sunset. When the sun went down, we returned to the hotel and thought of having cashew curry, but they didn't have the cashews we expected. Nevertheless, the sabzi was good. Later, we craved for ice cream, so we went out walking. Bubbles (the boy) was irritated because I made him walk, but unfortunately, everything was closed by then. We found falooda and enjoyed that, even though I don't usually like falooda, but it was good and sweet. Finally, we returned to the hotel and slept like babies. That's all for today.

Bye goodnight🥱

xoxo ❤️

The Day My Nepal Trip Got Cancelled by Just One Message

From Mumbai adventures to a cancelled train, here’s the emotional rollercoaster we never saw coming. Read on to discover how our journey to Nepal ended before it even began. Today is 13th April — the day our long-awaited journey to Nepal was supposed to begin. We had planned to travel by train, packed with excitement and dreams. But everything came crashing down with just one heartbreaking message . The day started with so much hope. I woke up early, completed my last-minute packing, although I was feeling a bit uneasy. Out of nowhere, I started coughing and even vomited. Still, I pulled myself together, prayed like every day, took blessings, and booked a cab to the bus station. We boarded a bus to Mumbai, costing ₹950 for two people. By 5 PM, we reached Dadar, Mumbai. Since our train to Nepal was scheduled at 10 PM, we thought of exploring a few places to kill time. Unfortunately, all the places I had planned to visit remained a dream because the taxi drivers were charging crazy amo...

Food, Films, and a Dash of Chaos: Our Journey to Bangalore Begins!

Today marked the start of our journey to Bangalore, though the actual trip kicks off tomorrow. With our train from Pune Junction scheduled for 8:30 PM, we had a full day to kill. Naturally, we decided to make the most of it by indulging in good food, catching a movie, and simply enjoying some quality time together. We kicked things off with lunch at  Mandala Hotpot ,  where we treated ourselves to some delicious Korean hotpot. The flavors were on point, and the portion size was generous enough to leave us completely stuffed. It took us nearly two hours to finish (totally worth it), and with our bellies happy, we decided to head to the movies. The nearest theatre had shows running mostly for  Pushpa 2 , which we’d already seen, so we opted for Mufasa . But here’s the catch—the show wasn’t until 3  PM, and we had a two-hour wait ahead of us. Since the mall didn’t have any proper seating areas, we wandered downstairs and found a spot at McDonald’s to...
