Gian Di Lassi - Amritsar

I visited this famous lassi shop in Amritsar and was amazed by the taste of their lassi. It was incredibly thick, creamy, and delicious, topped with lots of malai. The glass was so large that I didn't think I could finish it by myself, but I did! We tried both the regular lassi and the pedha lassi. The regular lassi was thick, creamy, and topped generously with malai, all for just ₹60 for that huge glass.

I also tried the pedha lassi, which was something new for me. It was made from pedha—first, they smashed the pedha and ice, made some yogurt from it, then transferred it into a bowl. They put plain yogurt into a big vessel to make the lassi, and after about 5-10 minutes of mixing, the pedha lassi was ready. It was hard work, but it turned out amazing, topped with malai and the pedha yogurt they had prepared earlier, all for just ₹100. We were so full that we couldn't even try the rabri!

How we spent one day in Amritsar| Exploring Amritsar in just one day| Unforgettable Amritsar

Discovered the best of Amritsar in just a day 😀 We woke up and got ready to explore Amritsar on foot. Our first stop was Gian di Lassi, a very old and famous lassi shop, where we tried their pedha lassi. It was so filling that we decided to skip breakfast and head straight to lunch. After that, we visited the Partition Museum, which was a thrilling experience that gave us goosebumps. The visit was so moving that I could barely hold back my tears. Next, we decided to do some shopping, where we bought traditional suits and juttis. Later, we had lunch at Rang Punjab, which was delicious, though we struggled to finish it because we had ordered too much. After lunch, we decided to visit the Wagah Border, which is about 30 km from Amritsar. We took an auto for ₹100 each and sat in the back. We reached around 4:30-5:00 pm, and the ceremony was set to start around 6:00 pm. However, due to the crowd, it's important to arrive early. We had so much fun watching the incredible patriotism of t...
