Enjoying the day before the trip 24 march 2024

Today, we are going to Kolhapur at night by train because we have plans for Malvan, but before that, we are going to spend a day in Pune. However, as usual, my boy was late to wake up, which made us late in Pune. Consequently, our BBQ reservation got cancelled, and I was upset because I had been wanting to eat BBQ for a long time. Nevertheless, he arrived by 1:30, and then we went directly to watch the movie

'Madgaon Express'🎥, which was funny and humorous. Well, we had planned two movies for the day, as we didn't know what else to do for the whole day. The next show was at 6 pm. So, now the problem was that since he got late, we hadn't had lunch, and both of us were very hungry. Luckily, we had an hour before the second movie started, so we went to Si Nonna's for the first time to have some pizza. Initially, we thought of having roti subji, but I was not in the mood for that, so I persuaded him😀😀. Upon entering Nonna's, we checked the menu and didn't understand anything, but the staff was very helpful, and we finally ordered something vegetarian and waited impatiently.
When the food arrived, we both ate as if we hadn't eaten for days. The pizza🍕 was incredibly tasty, made from sourdough and topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and some leaves (which I don't know). We added oregano, chilly flakes, and olive oil, and that was all I had hoped for. Later, we wanted to have some dessert, but it was time for our second movie, so we went to the theater and had a coke. We watched the movie

'Swatantra Veer Savarkar'🎥, and it was really eye-opening because sometimes we only know what we are told (the half-truth). The movie lasted almost 3 hours, and we were late for our train. We hurried up, took an auto, and went straight to the station without dinner. We ran on the station to catch our train, and by just 2 minutes, we were saved. The whole night, we had nothing, not even water, as the train doesn't serve anything after 9-10 pm. And here our day ends. Bye, good night 😴.

xoxo ❤️

Finally, we are in Malvan 25 march 2024

Early in the morning, we reached Kolhapur around 5:30-5:45 am and went to the bus station, catching the first bus to Malvan at 6:30. The distance from the railway station to the bus station is only about 1.5 km, but the auto driver charged us 40 rupees because it was morning. Actually, the bus was scheduled for 6 am, but it got delayed reaching the Kolhapur bus station, so we had no choice but to wait. We arrived in Malvan around 11:30 am. We had pre-booked Hotel Aishwarya for 4 nights, which cost us only 7500 rupees, including breakfast. Since our check-in was at 12, we waited in the lobby, where they served us refreshments and a welcome drink, kokum sarbat. After checking in, the first thing we did was freshen up and get ready for lunch, as it was already 1 o'clock. We quickly rented a bike and headed to a nearby restaurant, Hotel Chaitanya, known for its seafood and also serving vegetarian thali. So, we ordered two Vegetarian thali's. However, the service was so slow that we

Visited Sindhudurg fort, 27 March 2024

We woke up early and had breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast was the same as yesterday, but this time we had tea. We had decided to go out and explore the remaining places. Well, there are lots of places to visit in Malvan. We went to the beach to reach Sindhudurg Fort by jetty. However, the jetty started when all the seats were full. The jetty cost us almost 140rs for two people. It took us almost 10-15 minutes to reach the fort, and from there, they told us that we would have one hour to roam around and come back to the jetty. As we went inside, there was one more ticket counter charging 5rs per person for entry to the fort. Later, we tried kaju sarbat for the first time, but it tasted more like lemon and amla. The fort is very big and is located between the beach. We walked on the walls of the fort and heard the sound of water touching the fort; it was an overall good experience, but the heat was overwhelming. There are temples as well as many shops to grab snacks inside the fort
