Starting My Diary Again After 3 Years | June 9, 2026
Today is 9th June.
Around this time last year, I was admitted to the hospital. Definitely not a memory I enjoy revisiting. Even thinking about it makes me a little nervous. At the same time, it reminds me how important it is to take care of our health. We often take it for granted until something goes wrong.
But enough about that.
Let's talk about today.
I woke up early and went for my morning walk. Lately, I've stopped taking my phone with me. In fact, I try not to use my phone at all until at least 10 a.m. I wanted to give myself a few screen-free hours after waking up.
The walking area is very close to my house, so I'm not worried about missing anything important. If there's ever an emergency, my family knows where I am, and there are plenty of familiar people around.
Honestly, walking without my phone feels different.
There's no scrolling, no notifications, no constant urge to check something. Just me, the fresh morning air, and the world slowly waking up. The best part is that I don't feel the need to think about anything. I simply walk and exist for a while.
After coming home, I freshened up and had breakfast. Nothing fancy—just a leafy vegetable paratha with curd. The kind of breakfast I would have probably called boring a few years ago, but now I find comfort in simple things.
The rest of the morning was slow and familiar. I got some work done and read a few pages of a book.
Later in the day, I went out with a friend to watch Obsession. I was having a good time until the horror part started.
It was fun though, mostly because of the company and getting out of the house for a while.
As for the movie itself, I think it's a one-time watch for me.
By the time I got home, it was already pretty late, so I went straight for dinner.
Most of the day had been spent outside, and surprisingly, I managed to stick to my diet. Well... mostly.
Since it wasn't my cheat day, I avoided eating anything from outside except popcorn and Coca-Cola at the movie.
I know.
Anyways, the monsoon still hasn't arrived where I live.
Everyone keeps talking about rain, cloudy skies, and cozy weather, while it's still bright and sunny here. Honestly, these days I find myself reaching for a bottle of water more often than a snack.
I'm still waiting for that first proper rainy day.
The smell of wet soil, the cooler breeze, and that feeling that the season has finally changed.
And with that, I think it's time to call it a day.
It's funny how I started writing diaries back in 2023, stopped somewhere along the way, and now here I am again in 2026, filling a page with thoughts from an ordinary Tuesday.
Maybe that's all a diary really is—a collection of days that might not seem important now but could mean something years later.
I do hope I continue writing this time.
Not because every day is exciting, but because every day has something worth remembering.
So, until tomorrow.
Good night. 🌙
